Fly fishing for Rainbow trout in Interior BC.
The interior of BC is know as a still water paradise, that means we have hundreds of lakes full of rainbow trout at our doorstep. This summer I want to share that with you! If you have never fished before or have thousands of days on the water I have something to share.
Learn to cast
Learn to cast a fly rod in a soccer field here in Sun peaks. No hooks, No Boat, nothing to distract you. Dry land is the easiest place to learn the most important part of fly fishing and that is casting.
Learn to fish
Once we have covered the basics on dry land we can hit the water. Many lakes surrounding Sun Peaks are packed full of Rainbow Trout, That provides us the best place to learn within minutes of the village.
